I love Buckethead but I also feel a certain lack of connection cause of his lack of personal identity. I get that he might not be photogenic or something. So, it’s not that I resent it. It’s just a lack of emotional content for me that actually makes his music less interesting. Amazing but less compelling than if there was a human face. It’s an odd thing. I can’t help feeling that it symbolizes some tragedy although that doesn’t come across in his music.
